When Will Electric Cars Launch
There has been so much talk about the development of new cars which do not run on fuel, but rather run on electricity. But a huge amount of people are still asking the question as to when these will be developed. I mean we know there are already electric vehicles, but they are just so small and run out of charge straight away.
Well things are now changing because electric vehicle manufacturing company Tesla Motors have recently announced and launched the new Tesla Motor which can literally hit 60MPH in just under 4 seconds, besides that the car can give you just over 200 miles of drive time on a three hour charge. But although they have reached a great feat, it is still something that needs a huge amount of work.
I really feel that for an electric vehicle to hit the main stream market it needs to at least do about 300 miles on a few minutes charge. There is no way that the majority of people will spend 3 hours each day charging their vehicle. Charging points must be created like petrol stations, so people can quickly top up and move on.
I literally believe that this is exactly how things will plan out, simply because thousands of people would lose their jobs if petrol stations shut down. So I can certainly say that the governments around the world will not let this happen as they would instead make chargeable power points when the electric run motors did finally end up hitting the market they would be able to charge a nice little sum of money.
